Since 1996 Information Centre of Lithuanian Standards Board carries out functions of World Trade Organization Enquiry Point, the activities of which are based on World Trade Organization Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade. WTO TBT Enquiry Point answers all reasonable enquiries from other Members and interested parties in other Members as well as upon their request provides the copies of adopted or proposed Lithuanian standards, technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures in Lithuanian language and at request provides information for legal and natural persons, also the enterprises having no right of a legal person in Lithuania on the standards, technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures adopted or proposed by WTO Members.
